Hello friends!! I'm a little late getting this post off. Unfortunately, we had a family health issue come up. My dad went in for a stress test on Monday and they immediately sent him to be prepped for a heart cath. He ended up needing to have 2 stints put in. Often God speaks to us, if we're willing to take the time to really listen. After Corey's accident I had a lot of time to pray and listen to God speak to me. My walk with God became so much a part of me. I literally yearned for it. I would get to the hospital every morning, check in on Corey and get the latest report and then if I was able to go right then, I would go to the chapel and pray. Day one–My Story
The late evening hours of July 9, 2011 began my pages upon pages of journaling. A wise, good friend of mine came to the hospital to pray with us and to give me a journal. It was the best "gift" I could have received at that time. Writing is so therapeutic. To get my thoughts, feelings, questions, worries, fears and all those things bogging me down, out on paper, was such a blessing. I journaled religiously those first two years.
